LAMDA lessons

Devon LAMDA provides friendly, focused LAMDA tuition for young people (aged 11 - 18 years) with one-to-one, paired and small group lessons available.
Whether a student already loves being on stage or is taking their first tentative steps into performance, lessons are designed to meet them where they are.
We work on technique, creativity, communication and confidence, while preparing students for internationally recognised LAMDA examinations.
Most importantly, we want young people to enjoy the process.

LAMDA lessons give young people the opportunity to develop skills that reach well beyond the stage.
Through working with speeches, poetry, prose and performance, students learn to use their voice effectively, communicate ideas clearly, interpret text and perform with confidence.
For some, the aim is to work towards LAMDA grades and progress through the examination system. For others, it might be about becoming more comfortable speaking in front of people, developing acting skills or simply having a creative space in which to try something new.
